At HCL Labels, Inc., we specialize in creating chemical-resistant labels that convey crucial safety information for workers handling hazardous substances. Compliance with OSHA’s “Hazard Communication” regulations, the Employee Right-to-Know law, is essential for industries dealing with dangerous chemicals. Over the years, we've developed the largest library of chemical safety labels, positioning HCL as the leading provider of hazard communication labels.
HCL labels are developed from “Safety Data Sheets” (SDS). In 2012, OSHA updated its Hazard Communication (HazCom) standards to align with the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). Compliance with these standards has been mandatory since June 1, 2016. To support our clients, HCL offers more than 900 ready-made OSHA/GHS-compliant labels available for immediate shipment. Our team can swiftly create custom GHS labels with a client-provided SDS to help our clients keep their workforce safe and stay in compliance. HCL has expanded its product line to include hazardous waste labels and signs, DOT placards and labels, NFPA placards, and general safety signs and labels. Our core product line remains our OSHA/GHS HazCom labels, giving us a strong competitive advantage because of our extensive experience developing hazard communication labels.
