EMERGENCY SHOWER & EYEWASH FLOOR SIGN

FED-OSHA and CAL-OSHA follow the guidelines outlined in ANSI Z358.1-2014 regarding the clearance required under emergency safety shower/eyewash units.

The center of the shower water pattern must be at least 16” from ANY obstruction. This clearance must be maintained free of obstructions at all times to ensure easy access to the emergency unit.

HCL’s floor signs are ideal for reminding workers to keep those critical areas free of obstructions. The signs are available in two convenient sizes 16” x 16” (minimum size required) and 18” x 18”, a recommended format for better access to the units.

Also, available are floor signs for a single emergency shower or a single emergency eyewash station.
