NFPA 430 provides requirements for the safe storage of commercially available strengths of liquid and solid oxidizers. Proper use will decrease the risks of explosion, spontaneous ignition of combustible materials, rapid decomposition, and other hazardous situations. This document includes a risk-based classification scheme and storage and handling requirements for the potential risk presented by the specific class of oxidizer. These storage requirements also include big box retail storage of oxidizers.
